PRESS RELEASE

WIIT: three-year renewal worth over €2.2 million with an international travel retail client based on a Hybrid Cloud model with WIIT Secure Cloud, public cloud and edge, advanced security and data protection

Milan, 30 June 2026 – WIIT S.p.A. (“WIIT” o la “Società”; ISIN IT0005440893; WIIT.MI), European leader in the market of Private and Hybrid Cloud services for Critical Applications, announces the renewal of a three-year contract with a total value of approximately €2.2 million, with a major international client operating in the travel retail sector (the “Customer”).

The renewal confirms the Customer’s trust in WIIT for the management of its critical systems and strengthens a long-term partnership, reinforcing the Company’s role as a strategic partner in the evolution and resilience of IT environments supporting a highly distributed, 24/7 business such as retail, where service continuity and the performance of systems supporting point-of-sale operations are essential.

The new agreement is based on a Hybrid Cloud model designed to manage each workload in the most suitable environment, depending on performance, security and business proximity requirements. In this context, the critical environments supporting the Customer’s core retail processes have been centralized within WIIT’s Secure Cloud, located in the Premium Italy North-West and Italy North-East Regions, with 24/7 management, ensuring high availability through TIER IV-certified data centers, operational resilience and full control of data within a European perimeter.

The service model also natively integrates systems managed on public cloud platforms, in particular Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure, as well as edge environments distributed across the Customer’s locations in Italy and Europe, ensuring the optimal balance between centralization and proximity, and enabling coordinated management of infrastructure and connectivity in distributed retail environments.

Particular attention is paid to data protection and operational resilience. The solution includes advanced backup services with data immutability, integrated into WIIT’s European Cloud Vault offering and supported by a geographically distributed secondary copy across WIIT’s European data center network, ensuring high standards of security, data integrity and business continuity.

The agreement also includes managed security services, integrated with the policies and international standards defined by the Customer’s parent company, and advanced solutions for the centralized management and control of privileged access, further strengthening the security posture of the IT environments. Through this architecture, WIIT enables an

operating model that combines flexibility, control and data sovereignty, increasingly critical elements for organizations operating on an international scale and within complex, distributed environments.

"The Customer's decision to renew its partnership with WIIT is a strong confirmation of the value of our model in managing critical environments," commented Alessandro Cozzi, CEO of WIIT. "In a sector such as retail, where the continuity of point-of-sale operations and system reliability are essential, the ability to orchestrate Secure European Cloud, public cloud platforms and edge environments in an integrated way—combined with a strong focus on security and data protection—represents a key factor in ensuring resilience, performance and control on an international scale."
