Celtex Ltd raises capital from private investors as part of an overall strategy to fund its Tourism Development project “The Tiers Golf & Country Club” Western Tiers Tasmania
The Chairman of Celtex Ltd is pleased to advise that Celtex Ltd has been successful in raising an initial sum of A$130,000.00 as part of a two tier funding program. Funds will be used for working capital as the Company processes its development application for its Golf & Country Club Tourism Accommodation project in the Western Tiers, Northern Tasmania.
Celtex Ltd is also in discussions with institutional finance providers with a view to secure sufficient additional funding to commence the infrastructure construction phase of the above project subsequent to the completion of the development application.
In connection with the initial raising, the Company has received an application for the issue of fully paid ordinary shares in the Company to the value of A$130,000.00. The issue price will be calculated as 80% of the average market price for the Company's shares over the last 5 days on which sales in the securities were recorded before the date of issue.
Based on the Company's trading activity on ASX as at the close of business on 26th September 2008, the number of shares that would have been issued is 1,354,167 shares at 9.6cents per share. The number of shares that will actually be issued may vary from that number.
Each ordinary share will be accompanied by an attaching option to be issued for no additional consideration. The options will be exercisable at a price of 10 cents per share at any time within 5 years of issue. No shareholder approval will be required in connection with the proposed issues. The funds will be used for the working capital requirements of the Company.
