IOUpay Limited (ASX: IOU) – Suspension from Official Quotation

Description

The securities of IOUpay Limited (‘IOU’) will be suspended from quotation immediately under Listing Rule 17.2, at the request of IOU, pending the release of an announcement regarding the outcome of the Company’s application to the Federal Court of Australia for relief under section 1322 of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) in respect of an issue of shares on 3 March 2020.

Regarding Request for Voluntary Suspension on Securities of IOUpay Limited (‘IOU’/‘the Company’):

The Company seeks a voluntary suspension of its securities pending the release of the outcome of its application to the Federal Court of Australia (‘Court’) (being heard by the Court today at 9.45am [AEST]) for relief under section 1322 of the Corporations Act (‘Act’) to validate the issue and any subsequent sale(s) of shares that were issued on 3 March 2020.

IOU expects that an announcement in relation to the outcome of the application will be made during the course of the day, and the voluntary suspension will remain in place until the announcement is released.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the Company’s request should not be granted. This request has been authorised for release by the Board of Directors.
