Sub: Cancellation of registration of MMTC LIMITED in NSEL case by SEBI.
Dear Sir,
In terms of provisions of Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing & Disclosure Requirements) Regulation, 2015, it is hereby informed that pursuant to the Order No. SEBI/HO/EFB1/DRA2/OW/P/ENQ/PP/2023/31179/1 SEBI, Enforcement Department-1, SEBI has cancelled the registration of MMTC LIMITED as a stock broker for its involvement in illegal “paired contract” in case pertaining to defunct National Spot Exchange Limited. As this information amount to material event, we are informing the stock exchange where our shares are listed.
SEBI in exercise of his power conferred under Section 12(3) and section 19 of SEBI Act 1992, and read with regulation 27 of the SEBI (Intermediaries) Regulations, 2008 cancelled the certificate of registration (Bearing No. INZ000028733) of the noticee i.e. MMTC LIMITED.
This order shall come into force with immediate effect.
