Safety Medical Products Limited (SMP) wishes to advise that due to a technical oversight it appears the company's Notice advising shareholders of the recent Annual General Meeting may inadvertently not have received at the ASX and therefore was not announced to the market.

Reference is made to our AGM and the date of same by way of reference in our announcement to the market on the 21 November 2006, and Notices and Proxies were previously sent out to shareholders accordingly with the Notice on 27 October 2006 and another copy of each enclosed herewith.
