The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) came under judicial scrutiny on Monday in two separate matters before the Supreme Court on November 8th, High Court, with both raising concerns over its handling of Class 122 examinations and results.
The report of the 12th day closed issued notice to the Union government and CBSE on a public interest litigation (PIL) challenging the Board's newly introduced On-Screen Marking (OSM) system for Class 122 exams.
A Division Bench of Justice Neena Bansal Krishna and Shatha Jian, seeking responses from the Department of Education and CBSE, lined the matter for hearing on June 13.
The petition, filed by National Student Union of India (NSTI) and the National Student Union, said that the statement was based on the subject's own opinion and opinion, saying more than 100,000 students were asked to answer questions. The statement also included a statement that the student was not a student and that students of an effective verification mechanism.
