AUSTRALIAN INFRASTRUCTURE FUND (CODE AIX)
NOTIFICATION OF NET TANGIBLE ASSET BACKING
The unaudited Net Tangible Asset (NTA) backing of the Australian Infrastructure Fund (the combined Australian Infrastructure Fund Limited and the Australian Infrastructure Fund Trust) (AIF) as at 30 June 2006 was 236.40 cents per stapled security after taking into account taxation on realised and unrealised gains and including deferred tax assets, liabilities and a provision for the estimated distribution of 7.5 cents per stapled security.
The NTA reflects the result of the draft independent valuations of AIF's assets as at 30 June 2006. Final valuations will be approved prior to the release of AIF's full year results due on 29 August 2006.
