MARKET RELEASE

Sale of Mortgage Management operations to National Australia Bank completed

30 October 2009, Sydney – Challenger Financial Services Group Limited (ASX:CGF) today announced it had completed the sale of its Mortgage Management operations to National Australia Bank.

Settlement of the sale of a portfolio of warehouse mortgages is scheduled to complete the week beginning 2 November 2009.

The sale of Challenger’s Mortgage Management operations was previously announced on 18 August 2009.
