Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Australian Unity Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Gordon Ballantyne as a non-executive director effective from 28 August 2025.

Mr Ballantyne brings 25 years of global executive experience leading large, complex businesses in highly regulated industries, particularly in telecommunications, technology, and healthcare. Most recently (2017-2019), he served as CEO & Managing Director of Healthscope Limited, a leading listed healthcare company providing hospital and pathology services across Australia and New Zealand prior to the business being acquired. Previously, he served as Group Executive & Group Managing Director at Telstra Corporation, following senior leadership roles at HewlettPackard and T-Mobile in the United Kingdom. Earlier in his career, Mr Ballantyne was the founder and Managing Director of dell.com in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Mr Ballantyne is a graduate of the Oxford University Strategic Leadership Program and holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
