Public-company filings in Italy are supervised by Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa (CONSOB). Reporting follows IFRS (consolidated); Italian GAAP (separate). Filings are most commonly published in Italian and English. Major issuers are listed on FTSE MIB, FTSE Italia Mid Cap and FTSE Italia Small Cap. Calendar year predominant.

The Italian listed-company landscape

Italy hosts approximately 400 publicly traded companies across Euronext Milan's regulated market and the SME-focused Euronext Growth Milan segment (formerly AIM Italia). The headline indices - FTSE MIB (40 large caps), FTSE Italia Mid Cap (60 mid caps), and FTSE Italia Small Cap - structure the institutional-investable universe.

The FTSE MIB is heavily weighted toward financials and utilities, reflecting Italy's banking-led economy: Intesa Sanpaolo, UniCredit, Banca Mediolanum, Banco BPM, BPER Banca, and Generali Assicurazioni anchor the financials sleeve, with Enel, Eni, Snam, Terna, and Italgas on the energy / utility side. Industrials (Leonardo, Prysmian, Pirelli), luxury (Moncler, Brunello Cucinelli, Ferrari), and consumer staples (Campari, DiaSorin) round out the headline names. Sector concentration is more pronounced than in larger European markets - Financials and Utilities together account for over 50% of FTSE MIB market cap.

FinancialReports tracks every Euronext Milan-listed issuer (regulated and Euronext Growth Milan), classified by FRCF / ISIC sector and exchange segment. Each company page surfaces complete filings history, ISINs, ticker codes, cross-listings (a notable share of large-cap Italian issuers also trade in New York or Frankfurt), and IR metadata. Daily refresh from official regulator and exchange sources ensures new IPOs, de-listings, and segment migrations flow through promptly.

The Euronext Growth Milan segment captures a long tail of small-cap and SME issuers under a lighter regulatory regime but full MAR / Transparency Directive disclosure obligations - particularly relevant for analysts targeting Italian mid-cap industrial and tech growth stories that don't appear in the FTSE MIB or Mid Cap indices.
